What a Friend We Have in Jesus:  Catholic Social Justice  w/Dr. Deni Mack

Let's look at our relationship with Jesus, Jesus in one another and even sparks of the divine within ourselves! As a prayer guide and spiritual companion, Deni has "heard it all" from Jesus' friends and (self-described) "enemies" who may have once thought they were not exactly beloved of God but discovered that friendship with Jesus is not severed. We hope you accept Deni's invitation to strengthen our relationship with Jesus, or build, it or warm it, or discover it, or spread it, or wonder about it, or delve into it, or puzzle over it, or commit to it, or move mountains to get to it! We might even ask, "What does friendship with Jesus ask of us?" Deni will break open a few scriptures that speak to our friendship with Jesus, and talk about some ordinary and extraordinary challenges to that friendship along with a few ways to overcome obstacles to friendship with Jesus. Deni will assure us that from Jesus' perspective there is no insurmountable obstacle to friendship with Jesus. (Family Faith Formation
